A concept that provides a buyer and seller peace of mind by titling a work to secure value. Title4Art endorses this concept.
With Title4Art buyers and sellers can be sure that the works of art or collectibles they purchase or sell are secured against fraud through registration of the title.
HOW IT WORKS

TITLE4Art registers the descriptive information for a specific collectible into its database. This generates an account for the current holder of the collectible (be it a dealer or private owner) and a specific certificate and registration number for the collectible.

Every time this registered collectible transfers from one account (the seller) and enters a different account (the new owner), a new Certificate of Title is issued to the new owner in their name.

The descriptive information of the piece remains the same. The certificate number follows the piece and remains the same throughout the chain of provenance. A new registration number is issued with each new owner.
